The GMB pride itself in ensuring that when at work Benefits relating to your workplace are offered. Nationally, we have a number of benefits of which members can apply for (provided they meet certain criteria).

- Weekly accident benefit - £9.25 per week for up to 11 weeks for an accident at work. Payable after two weeks absence. £4 per week for part time members.
- Total disablement benefit - Up to a maximum of £4000 for full time working members and up to a maximum of £2000 for part time members.
- Fatal accident benefit - Up to a maximum of £4000 for full time working members and up to a maximum of £2000 for part time members.
- Funeral benefit - Up to a maximum of £130 for full time members and up to a maximum of £58 for part time members.
- Dispute benefit - £50 per week for full time members and £25 per week for part time members
