The GMB pride itself in ensuring that when at work Benefits relating to your workplace are offered. Nationally, we have a number of benefits of which members can apply for (provided they meet certain criteria).

- National Accident Benefit- £9.25 per week for up to 11 weeks for an accident at work. Payable after two weeks absence.
- Total Disablement Grant- Up to a maximum of £10,000
- Fatal Accident Benefit- Up to a maximum of £10,000 for Occupational Fatal Accident Benefit and up to £5,000 for Non-Occupational Fatal Accident Benefit
- Funeral benefit - A payment of £300 is available for members with 8 years or more continuous membership.
- Dispute benefit - £50 per week for full time members and £25 per week for part time members
