Richard Taylor - Senior Organiser - Leicester Office
Manager of Southern Team, which covers Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Southern Lincolnshire and Peterborough Offices. Senior Organiser for Manufacturing section.
David Shamma - Regional Organiser - Peterborough Office
David is a Regional Organiser based at our Peterborough Office and has responsibility for GMB members in the Grantham and Boston area. In the private sector David covers companies such as Moy Park, Vaculug Tyres, PAS and many others. In the public sector he has responsibility for a number of local authorities which include Boston Borough Council and Newark & Sherwood District Council. He also has responsibility for some areas of membership in and around Peterborough, mainly serving those members within Peterborough Local Authority Branch and Peterborough Food and Allied Branch.
David is also the Young Members Officer for the region.
Jed Purkis - Regional Organiser - Leicester Office
Jed Purkis is a Regional Organiser based at our Leicester Office. Jed has responsibility for GMB members at Leicestershire County Council. In the private sector Jed serves GMB members in Next, Eveden . He also looks after members in manufacturing, packaging, construction, furniture. Jed is the Principal Officer for British Gas, Casino’s and Cast Stone & Concrete
Sian McClarence - Regional Organiser- Leicester Office
Sian McClarence is an Organiser based at the Leicester Office. Sian is Principle Officer for Asda. Also, having responsibility for Leicester City Council, Asda Distribution centres in Lutterworth and Brackmills, Southern Cross Healthcarel and many other private companies.
Colin Whyatt - Regional Organiser - Leicester Office
Colin serves GMB members at bmi at locations such as Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports and, of course, at the Company Headquarters at Donington. Also has responsibility for Charnwood Borough Council and many private companies.
Rachelle Wilkins - Regional Organiser - Peterborough Office
Rachelle is a Regional Organiser based at our Peterborough Office and has responsibility for members in the private and public sectors across the Northamptonshire area including Corby and Kettering. This includes local authority membership within Northamptonshire County Council and those members working in industries such as retail and care.
Rachelle also has responsibility for the Peterborough area and serves members mainly within the Peterborough Engineering Branch and Peterborough General Branch.
Rachelle is the region’s lead officer for Wilkinson and Asda Stores.
